Visiting Parties – Terms and Conditions of Play

1.      To quality for the Society Package, the group size must be a minimum of 12 players.

2.      A non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required to secure your booking, refunds will be granted if the course is closed due to adverse weather conditions.

3.      Final payment must be paid in full at least 10 days prior to your visit.

4.      If the advised numbers are reduced to less than 12 at the time of final payment, the full green fee will be charged for the number of players remaining.

5.      Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required by cash, credit, or debit card.

6.      If the booking is cancelled with less that 10 days’ notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount paid will apply.

7.      Food orders must be confirmed, and full payment must be paid 10 days before your visit.

8.      The Club House and Professionals’ shop will be open from 8.00am each day. The Professional will advise you of the security code for access to the clubhouse on your arrival.

9.      Play is from the Tee of the day.

10.  All players must agree to and abide by the course and clubhouse code of conduct and      dress codes at all times. These are published on the Club’s website and Club V1 app.

11.  All visitors must agree to follow any instructions given by a Director of the Club, The Professional or other Authorised Officer.

12.  The Bingley St Ives Golf Club Ltd reserves the right to refuse any visiting society or individual access to the course for whatever reasons it deems fit and shall not be required to disclose such reasons.

13.  Greenkeepers have priority on the course at all times.

14.  The acceptance of a tee time by any society will be deemed as acceptance of the Club’s Dress Code and Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

15. Players must have adequate Golf related insurance cover and indemnify BSIGC Ltd from any responsibility of consequences from their actions.

CLUB PROFESSIONAL

Paul Humpherson has been providing an invaluable service to both the regular members and visitors of Bingley St. Ives Golf Club for many years. As the Head PGA Professional Paul is assisted by Will Whiteoak, PGA Qualified, and Mick Hillas who is also a PGA Qualified Professional.

The Pro-Shop carries a large selection of stock from leading manufactures including Callaway, Ping, Mizuno, Titleist and many more. A custom fitting service is available for the purchase of new clubs to both members and visitors.

Club manufacturers produce clubs to their own standards, however we are all aware that there is no standard that can be applied to the swing and stature of a player. With performance and setup of clubs differing from manufacturer to manufacturer gaining professional advice on which clubs suit your game the most is highly recommended.

Many players will think that they are not good enough golfers to warrant custom fitting but this is untrue. Having clubs that are suited to your golf swing rather than adjusting your golf swing to the clubs will help those that have been playing for twenty years or are just beginning to improve their game.
